This Inauguration Pano is BIG!

I stumbled across this the other day and thought I would share it with the three people who tune in regularly to the old Observer.

This is a panoramic photo taken during the inauguration by David Bergman. It is comprised of 200 (yes as in two hundred) individual photos and then is combined into this massive collage. The final image you see here has a megapixel value of over 1,400. In comparison, your average point and shoot camera takes between 4-8 mega pixels.
If you know me, I love panoramic photos. I think I wet myself exploring this one. It is massive! Click the photo to be taken to a larger version where you can zoom around and see everybody's face with amazing clarity. It really is cool to see.
